Does Packaging actually connect people to a brand?

Its has always been a discussion or some sort of debate. Why should I spend so much on packaging especially when I make so little? If you are in this school of thought, then this is for you. This is not really about all the importance of packaging but more how you can get a more loyal customer base just because of the packaging that you use.

Packaging establishes a connection with people. People can distinguish your company’s worth and your product’s distinctive qualities thanks to packaging. It has several characteristics, including a distinctive brand name, image, logo, and voice. When going for packaging, consider the narrative you want your brand to convey . The goal is to provide your product a distinctive character, build consumer loyalty and trust, and raise customer expectations for the brand. All this is possible with good packaging.

THE BOOK AND IT’S COVER

Ever heard the famous statement ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’?. Well that phrase was made because it is common for people to judge a book (product, service) by its cover (packaging). When you don get your packaging right, you may not get the chance to show people how good you are on the inside.

DOES IT LOOK GOOD?

We live in a social media age. Anything and everything goes online. So a common questions people will silently ask themselves before coming to your store is does it look good? People want to give or have an idea of a life. They want to feed the public a perspective. They would more easily go to stores and shops that help pass that message. Imagine a Picture with someone holding a ‘Channel’ bag. even if the picture is taken in ‘black and white’, it send a message.
